Programming Services

Microprocessors :

I.M.S. has considerable experience of microprocessor programming in Assembler and High Level Languages ('C'). Whilst most of our current designs are based on the PIC range we are willing to programme for any product.
 

Industrial Computers :

It is quite common these days to use 'PC' based Industrial Computers to perform Data Logging or sophisticated control functions as part of assembly/test machines; I.M.S. has done a number of such applications where the computer is programmed in 'C++' and works in conjunction with a Programmable Logic Controller.

Programmable Logic Controllers : (PLCs)

Although many of these systems offer a form of high level programming most customers require them to be programmed in Ladder Logic, as more suited to general maintenance departments I.M.S. has considerable experience of such programming, including controllers from Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Toshiba.
Many of these controllers are operated as part of an overall system and connect via serial interfacing (RS232) to an Industrial Computer..
